Tonal Character & Why Choose the ES-137?

The ES-137 Classic delivers incredible versatility. Thanks to the mahogany center block, it easily manages high-gain overdrive and high-stage volumes without feeding back, while retaining the open, airy resonance of a semi-hollow body. Fitted with the high-output 490R/498T pickup combo, it seamlessly spans jazz, warm blues, rock, and biting classic hard rock tones.
