This is a beautiful Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue, custom-ordered to Chicago Music Exchange's highly coveted "CME Spec" and finished in Lemon Burst VOS nitrocellulose lacquer. Selected woods for beauty, weight and resonance. Nice light 3,7kg.

What makes the "CME Spec" series so special is that it offers the vintage aesthetics and iconic value of a '58 Reissue, but pairs it with the streamlined playability of a slighter neck profile—giving you the best features across the Golden Era timeline. The guitar has some finishwear, but no cracks or repairs. Comes with COA, tags and original case.

Vintage Aesthetics Meets Modern Ergonomics

Finished in a vibrant Lemon Burst, this finish recreates the look of an original Cherry Sunburst that has faded gracefully over decades under UV light. While traditional '58 reissues feature a very thick, chunky '50s neck, this CME-spec build features a hand-selected, slighter neck profile '59 Carmelita shape. This offers a remarkably fast, comfortable feel that reduces hand fatigue while retaining maximum sustain.

Built with period-correct Hide Glue construction, a solid 1-piece lightweight mahogany body, and a hand-selected 2-piece maple top, this guitar resonates like a true vintage instrument. It is loaded with a set of unpotted Gibson Custombucker Alnico III pickups, hand-wired with CTS 500K audio taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors. Expect lush, woody neck tones and a bitey, articulate bridge sound that reacts dynamically to your volume adjustments.
