Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Solar Eclipse, produced in August 2017 as part of an extremely limited run of only 20 instruments worldwide.

With Nashville being the largest U.S. city in the direct path of the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, it's only fitting that Gibson Custom would create a small run of beautiful commemorative Les Paul to honor the day the sun went dark - the first time since 1478 and the last time until 2566.

This unique model features a flat (non-carved) top with a striking solar eclipse graphic, setting it apart visually from traditional Les Paul designs. Combined with a minimalist single-pickup configuration and stealth-inspired blacked-out aesthetic, this instrument offers both a distinctive look and a focused, raw tonal character.

Built to Custom Shop standards, the guitar features a solid mahogany body and set neck construction, delivering excellent sustain and resonance. The flat-top design contributes to a slightly more direct and immediate response compared to traditional carved-top Les Pauls.

Equipped with a single bridge-position humbucker, this model emphasizes clarity, attack, and dynamic response. The simplified control layout (volume and tone only) enhances the purity of the signal and overall playing experience.
