This is a special one. A Tom Murphy Aged True Historic Spec 1959 Historic. This is from the pre Murphy Lab days and this one was done by the master himself and you can see his TM signature carved in the finish checking under the volume knob. Nice weight of 3,8kg and great selected woods, this one rings and sings all over the place. Lovely tone and mojo. Open clear sound from the Custombuckers. The True Historic was the most acurate Reissue to date and the specs go to nerd level accuracy, see:

True Historic had:

- True Historic = spec accuracy
- Murphy Lab = aging + finish realism
👉 Many consider True Historic:
➡️ the best non-aged Gibson reissues ever made
Tone & feel
- Very resonant (lightweight + hide glue)
- Open, dynamic PAF-style response
- Less compressed than modern Les Pauls
