2019 Gibson Custom Shop 1968 Les Paul Goldtop – Yamano Special Order – Humbuckers

Rare 2019 ’68 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue, specially ordered for the Japanese market via Yamano. Unlike standard ’68 models (P-90), this example is factory-equipped with PAF-style humbuckers (Custombuckers), making it a far more versatile and sought-after configuration.

Built by the Gibson Custom Shop with a solid mahogany body, maple top, long tenon neck and vintage-correct construction. Finished in aged nitro for a vintage feel and authentic look.

Tonally this guitar sits between a ’59 Burst and a late-’60s Les Paul: open, dynamic, with clear highs and strong midrange.

A rare, non-standard Custom Shop piece with collector appeal and excellent playability.
