The Gibson Custom Shop 50th Anniversary 1968 Les Paul Goldtop (2018) is a limited-run reissue designed to replicate the "first batch" of 1968 Les Pauls. This model is notable for its historical accuracy, featuring specific aesthetic and construction details from the 1968 re-introduction.
