Beautiful 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue, finished by the Murphy Lab with Ultra Light Aging. This model captures the look, feel and tone of a true vintage ’60s Les Paul, with subtle aging that gives it that perfectly played-in character without heavy relicing.

This guitar features a lightweight mahogany body with a beautifully figured maple top, a solid mahogany neck with the classic 1960 Slim Taper profile, and a rosewood fingerboard with period-correct appointments. The Ultra Light Aged nitrocellulose finish adds gentle checking, soft patina and lightly aged hardware for an authentic vintage vibe.

Equipped with a matched set of Custombucker Alnico III pickups, the guitar delivers warm, articulate and harmonically rich tones — perfect for blues, rock and classic vintage-inspired sounds. The ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum tailpiece and vintage-style tuners provide excellent stability and resonance.

This Murphy Lab ’60 Les Paul feels incredibly responsive, resonant and comfortable right out of the case — truly capturing the essence of a well-preserved original.
