The Fender Custom Shop 1964 Telecaster Relic (Fall Event 2022) is a limited-edition build created for Fender’s Fall 2022 Custom Shop Event — a series of exclusive instruments hand-built by Fender’s top artisans. These guitars capture the look, feel, and tone of a genuine mid-’60s Telecaster, with vintage-correct specs, period-style materials, and carefully aged finishes.

The 1964 Telecaster Relic recreates the last pre-CBS era of Tele design — the transition period when Fender was refining neck shapes, finish formulas, and pickup voicing. This model combines authentic 1964 details with Custom Shop craftsmanship and modern playability, all wrapped in a lightly aged Relic finish.
