Gibson Flying V 1967 Reissue Historic Custom Shop with COA & Case

Here is a wonderfull sounding Custom Shop Flying V built in Nashville in 2010. After it's brief run in 1958 and 1959, the Flying V was retired. Upon its reintroduction in 1966,several notable changes were made to the V, including a larger pickguard, triangular knob configuration, shorter peghead, and perhaps most importantly, a mahogany body. Many players and collectors feel that the late 1960's Flying v represents the peak period of production for this model. Excellent condition, just some finish wear here and there and the pickguard has yellowed a bit.
